“It was sunset on a rooftop in downtown Fort Worth that Taylor told me he loved me. It was one of those BIG moments in life that leave their mark on your heart. I was falling in love with this man and he was falling in love with me. With each passing day I loved him more than the day before. It was the kind of love that hurts a good hurt, that brought happy tears, and the most joy I could ever imagine. Taylor was strong in every area that I was weak. He completed me and made me whole. He made me laugh, he challenged me, he prayed over me, he loved me well and taught me something new each day. We played around on the basketball court, tried out craft Beers, ran a 5K, downed a lot of sushi & Chipotle, and cheered relentlessly for the Duke Blue Devils. Just like that-his favorites became my favorites because his joys became my joys. It was on the same rooftop three years later that Taylor got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Taylor is my best friend and the man I prayed for. The Lord made him with me in mind and I am overwhelmed with a grateful heart. Being his wife is the greatest honor I have ever been given. I have moments when I just look at him and everything falls into line…I get to love him, and it’s the best thing that I’ll ever do.” -Becca Ann Ponder“I am reminded each and every day of just how lucky I am. Becca is not only the love of my life, but she is my best friend, as well. Her selflessness and her goodness is staggering, and her genuine care for others is admirable. In her, I am shown everyday what love truly looks like. Where I am weak, Becca‘s strength shines through. She loves with a boldness and a passion that speaks life into me every single day. How blessed am I to be loved, so unbelievably well, by such an incredible woman?” -TaylorVenue : Five Oaks Farm in Cleburne Texas | Hair and Makeup : Kristy Rankin | Flowers : Fountain Designs | Wedding Gown : Stella York | Bridesmaids Dresses : De Ma Fille bridal boutique in Fort Worth, Texas | Cake : Confections in Cake | Videography : 4500 Films
Jade & Megan had a “chance” encounter.” It’s incredible how things can change in an instant. It was while on a camping trip, a few summers ago, that they met, and hit it off immediately. They shared a love for adventure and instantly knew that they wanted to share their future adventures alongside one another. Their love grew quickly, along with the ever increasing distance between them; often times, half a world away. Despite this challenging factor, it was evident that God had a special plan for their lives. They adored and embraced every moment spent together. It was in those times, that it was made clear, how much God had truly designed and prepared them for one another, and how that one “chance encounter” was just a small piece and the very beginning of a much larger plan.“What draws me to Megan is her beauty. I don’t mean her outer beauty, which is in all ways stunning, but her heart; it makes me weak. Her incredible tenderness, honestly and resolve are such a privilege to witness everyday. Her beauty shines through in everything that she does. She challenges me to be a better man; the best man that I can be. She truly is a Godly woman, and I am undoubtedly blessed to have her heart.” -Jade“I am beyond blessed simply to know Jade and his kind heart; much more to have the honor of now being his wife, and his teammate through this wild ride we call life. Jade’s genuine and passionate personality drew me to him instantly. He’s unashamed of how big of a nerd he can be, and I love that quality about him. I’ve never met a soul as caring as his. He’s protected my heart since day one, and has worked hard for us in all ways. I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world.” -MeganPhotographing this beloved union was such a treat! The emotion you feel in these photographs was truly tangible while in the moment. Crazy in love, these two treat each other with such gentleness. Placing The Lord first, and one another second, it is evident that the years ahead of Jade & Megan will be spent in complete bliss. Thank you both for allowing me the privlidge of photographing your precious day. Your wedding was one of those that reminded me why I do what I do.

Photographing Paul & Hannah’s romantic, Southern wedding was one of the highlights of my summer. There is nothing quite like the feeling of being surrounded by Spanish Moss, hanging high from Live Oak trees, as the warm air surrounds you. Nestled underneath the shade, friends and family gathered, seated alongside hand painted wooden signs, quoting 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Tears filled Paul’s eyes, as the love of his life walked long, towards him. The sun set golden, as these two took communion, and tied the ropes of a beautiful keepsake stating “A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” Vows were made, and a kiss sealed what would forever mark that June evening, the best moments of Paul and Hannah’s lives thus far.
A lively reception awaited them, after roaming the dim garden pathways that surrounded the stunning plantation house. White linens lined candlelit tables, illuminating the rich, lush florals, paired beside vintage china, well-read books, and antique knickknacks, rusted to perfection. The newlywed couple danced the night away, seeing their way out the door with umbrella and handkerchiefs in hand; a Cajun tradition that was followed by a sparker exit and surprise firework show.
